APPEAL launches Zenodo Community and joins the EU Open Research Repository
The APPEAL project has established a dedicated Zenodo Community to provide a central open-access collection of publicly available project outputs and to further strengthen the implementation of Open Science within the project.
Up to now, the APPEAL-EU – Antivirus Pandemic Preparedness EuropeAn pLatform community currently brings together 15 publicly available records, including scientific posters, peer-reviewed publications, a public project deliverable and the APPEAL project flyer. The collection will be continuously expanded as further project results and dissemination materials become available.
An important milestone was reached shortly after its establishment: the APPEAL Zenodo Community has been accepted as an EU Project Community within the EU Open Research Repository. As a result, research outputs included in the APPEAL Community are automatically indexed in the EU Open Research Repository, increasing their visibility, discoverability and long-term accessibility.
Together with the APPEAL project website, Zenodo and the EU Open Research Repository provide complementary channels for making project results openly available and easier to find, access and reuse. This supports APPEAL’s commitment to Open Science and FAIR principles and facilitates knowledge sharing within the scientific community and beyond.
